Eritrea
Endemic poverty, food shortages and a history of war with its neighbor, Ethiopia, affect the lives of all people who live in this tiny country — but women and children bear the brunt of the suffering. Thanks to our donors, CNEWA supports feeding programs of the local churches; cares for impoverished children, providing schooling and nutritious meals; and supports the formation and education of Eritrea’s priests, sisters and lay people.
