Throughout CNEWA’s world, priests are in the forefront of finding innovative solutions to the numerous problems associated with widespread emigration, internal displacement and underdeveloped economies. These holy men are also called to mitigate the harmful affects of political and social upheaval.
The majority of these priests do not receive a regular salary to support their daily needs; they rely instead on freewill offerings given on the occasion of the celebration of the Eucharist and sacraments.
CNEWA forwards your Mass offerings and intentions to the Holy See’s Congregation for the Eastern Churches, which distributes them to the clergy under their jurisdiction.
Despite heavy workloads, these men center their lives on prayer. Our priests gratefully remember you, and your intentions, as they celebrate the divine mysteries.
